Vincentian Formation Plan
- Identification: Future and hope for the poor.
- Title: Formation to share the dream of St. Vincent de Paul.
- Beneficiaries: All the members of the branches of the Vincentian Family in Ecuador including teachers and catechists of the places where the Vincentian Family is present.
- Duration: 2 years.
Our mission is to strengthen, coordinate and encourage the evangelizing and service task of the different branches of the Vincentian Family in Ecuador, this requires us the mobility of the disciples of Jesus and a formation that ensures the practice of love, justice, solidarity through the accompaniment and organization of the poor; and, together, advisors and national and local coordinators, always tending to the defense of their dignity and fundamental rights, we also evangelize with our testimony of life and attitude of service in the style of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac, forming enterprising, supportive, just and honest Christians, convinced that formation changes the person and transforms society.
To contribute, as leaders of the Vincentian Family in Ecuador and within the evangelizing mission, to the growth of each of the members and groups in the experience of communion, co-responsibility in the joint processes, updating and energizing their pastoral work in the local Church, with a focus on Systemic Change, fortifying the Vincentian Charism and the Mission from the Gospel, the Social Doctrine of the Church and the Spirituality of the Vincentian Family.
